» senior animation film project.

A friend of mine needed that special touch of minimalism for his senior project, so I took it to the extreme. Animation is most often full of color, so I decided to go with a splash of green to keep things interesting. This green also reflected a color used in the front banner, so it kept a nice flow throughout the site itself.

» marshall mcluhan.

This minisite was a project assigned in my web design class. The objective was to choose between either Marshall Mcluhan or Jakob Nielsen and then proceed to design a site around them, supplying a biography, a list of published works, and some media. I chose to go with a more pulled-back approach and use a very limited color palette by using a rainbow of greytones and a splash of chocolate-brown.

» portfolio project.

This site was assigned as my first project in my web design course, and the objective was to design it to show the websites we have made before while reflecting myself. The project also involved creating a site with expandability for future updates. I considered actually using it as my real portfolio, but decided against that because the site may be a little bit too experiential for some users.

» sky/ocean/land.

Sky/Ocean/Land was developed for my Digital Page and Web Graphics class. The objective was to come up with a trio (such as "blood sweat tears," "lights camera action," etc.) and create a site around this concept. The more detailed description is presented on the "splash" page of this site. There are also a few little easter eggs in some of the information supplied.

» thrice.

Also assigned in my Digital Page and Web Graphics class, we had to create a site (including images, videos, and other media) dedicated to an artist of our choosing. I decided to go with a fantastic little band called  Thrice.

» achilles division.

Website created in 2005 for my (now disbanded) band. The layout was based upon concentric circles and a a watery/iced theme since most of our music was very ambient and with complex undertones. All done with tables, images, and an iframe. It is pleasing to the eye, but functionally it's not up to par.
